*****WEDNESDAY 3rd JUNE – AFTERNOON OUTING to Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens, Elmstead Market, Colchester. CO7 7DB. To arrive at 2.00pm. Cost – £13.50 pp, includes welcome talk and garden entry. Light refreshments available at Chatto’s Tea rooms at own cost. NB- ONLY CARD PAYMENTS, NO CASH.
*****WEDNESDAY 1st JULY – OUTING TO MARKSHALL, Coggeshall, Essex CO6 1TG.
ARRIVAL TIME, IN A GROUP, 11.00am. We decided to arrive at 11.00am in order to give everyone plenty of time as the gardens shut at 4.30pm. COST – £8.50pp provided we enter together as a group. There is a bookable buggy to the Walled Garden. £1.00 per trip. Tea room by entrance serving light lunches and refreshments, or bring own picnic. CARD PAYMENTS ONLY, NO CASH.
