4th FEBRUARY 2026  – ‘Simple Plant Photography, using a smart phone or tablet’, by Marion Sidebottom. MA, ARPS, RHS Gold and Silver Gilt. .

SATURDAY 11th APRIL 2026 – SPRING SHOW, OPEN TO EVERYONE !

6th MAY 2025 – ‘ Fuchsias, The Three Virtues’ plus ‘A Passion for Pelargoniums’, by Nick Dobson

***WEDNESDAY 13th MAY – AFTERNOON OUTING to Chapel Cottage , Cooksmill Green. CM1 3SH.                                                                                                       To arrive at 1.45pm. Cost of entry to be advised. Refreshment venue to be advised.

***WEDNESDAY 3rd JUNE – AFTERNOON OUTING to Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens, Elmstead Market, Colchester. CO7 7DB.                                                    To arrive at 2.00pm. Cost – £13.50 pp, includes welcome talk and garden entry. Light refreshments available at Chatto’s Tea rooms at own cost. NB- ONLY CARD PAYMENTS, NO CASH.

***WEDNESDAY 1st JULY – OUTING TO MARKSHALL, Coggeshall, Essex CO6 1TG. ARRIVAL TIME, IN A GROUP, 11.00am. We decided to arrive at 11.00am in order to give everyone plenty of time as the gardens shut at 4.30pm. COST – £8.50pp provided we enter together as a group. There is a bookable buggy to the Walled Garden. £1.00 per trip. Tea room by entrance serving light lunches and refreshments, or bring own picnic. CARD PAYMENTS ONLY, NO CASH.

##AUGUST 5th – Afternoon outing to Ulting Wick. Arrive 2pm. Cost £13pp includes refreshments

NOVEMBER 4th – ‘Garden Birds’ by Glyn Evans

DECEMBER 3rd – A Christmas social TBA

 All our evening meetings and the Spring Show take place in The Memorial Hall, Little Waltham CM3 3LN. There is plenty of parking behind the Hall.
The evening meetings begin at 7.30pm. There will be a raffle and light refreshments available.
We are a small but enthusiastic bunch of gardeners who are always keen to learn more about our hobby.
